FAQ

How does Champions League Last Man Standing work?

Each gameweek you pick one of the clubs in the competition to win. If they win, you survive to the next round; if they draw or lose, you're knocked out. You can't pick the same club twice until your used-team list resets. The last player standing wins the pool.

What happens if everyone is knocked out in the same week?

That's the owner's call when they set the pool up: it can roll over to the next gameweek, or the players who survived that round share the win. You can also reset used teams on a rollover so everyone starts fresh.

Can I pick the same team again?

Not until your used-team list resets - rationing the strong Champions League clubs across the season is a core part of the challenge. The owner can allow re-use, or reset used teams on a rollover.

How many people can play?

As many as you like - it's free, and the bigger the pool the longer it tends to run before someone takes it.

What's the best Champions League Last Man Standing strategy?

Plan a few gameweeks ahead instead of grabbing the biggest club every round. Strong favourites at home are the classic banker - but everyone else picks them too, so one shock result can wipe out half the pool while a braver pick sails through. Check the upcoming fixtures before you commit, be wary of derbies and awkward away trips, and remember you can't reuse a club until the list resets: burning all your bankers in the first month is the most common way to go out.

Do players need an account?

Yes - each player makes their own pick each week from their phone, so everyone signs up (it's free and takes a moment). Sharing the pool is just an invite code or link.

Is it free?

Yes - completely. No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases. Any real-money stakes between friends are arranged outside the app; we never handle money.
